Mary Ann Antoine

August 25, 1955 - October 22, 2025

Funeral Details: Private Family Arrangements

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Antoine, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Mary Ann left us on October 22, 2025, at the age of 70.  She was born on August 25, 1955, in Toronto.  She devoted her life to family, laughter, and kindness.  She and her husband, Rocky, were devoted to one another for 48 years-together since they were 19 and 18—and their bond was a testimony to love, partnership, and shared dreams.  Together they had a love that most can only dream of.  Mary Ann was the loving mother to Jennifer (Geoffrey), Julie (Daniel), and Rocky (Alexandria).  She was the caring and proud grandmother to Adrienne (Ethan), Michael, Robert, Ava, Mya, Matthew, Daniel, Rocky, Adeline, and Lilah. She was the dearest daughter of the late Raymond (Frances), and a cherished sister to Donna, and sister-in-law to Joannie, Judy (Russ) and Lorne (Tina); she was also a kind daughter-in-law to Doug (June).

Family always came first for Mary Ann.  She delighted in hosting parties, family gatherings, and holidays; she loved spontaneous moments of joy and fun.  Mary Ann had a mischievous fondness for scary movies, loved a lively game of bingo, and enjoyed nothing more than watching her ten grandchildren play their many sports.  In her younger years she worked as a cosmetologist, bringing beauty and confidence to others and later she and Rocky ran a successful business together for thirty years, while also running a judo club-another reflection of their teamwork, drive, and community spirit.

Above all, Mary Ann loved baking with her grandchildren, her laughter filling the kitchen with warmth and the aroma of cookies. Her spirit— spontaneous, fun-loving, and kind, touched everyone who knew her.  She will be dearly missed and forever remembered for the love she shared freely, the gatherings she made joyful, and the smiles she inspired.

The family will be holding a private ceremony to honour Mary Ann.  Those wishing to may consider a donation to the Southlake Health Foundation in memory of Mary Ann.

To Rocky Sr and Rocky Jr, Jen and Julie and Antoine family please accept our heartfelt condolences for your incredible loss. We have so many incredible memories of Maryanne – she was a very loving and generous woman who loved her family wholeheartedly. She was funny and had a big laugh. Always looking pretty and well dressed. She was like a second mom to our son since he was a small boy and for that we are truly grateful. David was always very happy being around Rocky Sr and Maryanne – spending endless hours at their home enjoying their company and good energy. Maryanne’s memories will always bring a smile to us and we will cherish her memories. May she rest in peace in God’s arms.
