Funeral Details:

Ryans, Mary Patricia (Sept 7, 1936 – June 7, 2020) left us peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer at Hospice Simcoe with her loving friend Bryne Ebeling and niece Rosemarie by her side.

Mary was pre-deceased by her husband James Ryans, brother David Tremblay and nephew David Tremblay. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her brother Norman Tremblay and niece Darlene and Craig Brown of Keswick and their family Bryant, Kayla and Cailyn Brown and niece Linda and Bernie Weidner and daughter Patricia; by her niece Rosemarie and Terry Wilson of Bancroft and their families Robert, Hailey and Juliette Wilson;  Wendy, Matt, Chase and Colton White; and Scott, Jennifer, Emmerson and London Wilson. Mary will also be remembered by David Jr’s wife, Ramona Tremblay and their daughter Michelle Tremblay-Buk, Sean and children Ruben and Josephine, of Bancroft.

Mary is known by all, as a witty and fun-loving woman who could brighten anyone’s day with her smile, laughter and positive attitude towards everything. Classic movies and country music have provided her great entertainment, and she could tell you almost every star and singer. Her love of nature, especially flowers, birds, and animals in her gardens in Sandy Cove, brightened her days. Mary will be deeply missed by her very special friends, Annie and Donna, and many others who knew her and enjoyed her special giggle.

Donations in Mary’s name to Hospice Simcoe or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Due to Covid restrictions, no funeral service will take place at this time. Cremation entrusted to Peaceful Transition Inc. Mary will be placed to rest at Churchill Cemetery, Ballantrae, ON at a later date.

    Rosemarie and family. I was thinking of Mary today and came across this notice of her passing. I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. She was the sweetest woman and Uncle Claire Bell adored her. She was the BEST stepdaughter.
