I am deeply saddened to learn of Maxine’s passing. She helped me so much when our family was in mourning about Dad and Sandra. She came into my room several times to offer comfort and a shoulder to cry on. I know how grateful Mom was for her and Dalt’s support during those very difficult times. Your family became my “home away from home”. I have so very many lovely memories of your whole family including me in your lives. I was invited to the cottage, to the ice capades, and coming over every Christmas to help make Owl candles, just to name a very few. Pam and Sue treated me almost like a little sister, with such kindness and patience. I am so grateful that our lives came together. I have never met a more kind and loving family than yours, and I know I never will. Rest well my dear friend, reunited with Dalt and Herb in God’s arms and gracious light for eternity. God Bless Everyone.

Your mother was a tablemate of my mother Audrey Taylor at the Waterford. Your mother was always very kind and caring towards my mother and was helpful at bringing concerns about Audrey to our attention. I have fond memories of many enjoyable and interesting conversations with Maxine.

Sue, so sorry on the loss of your mother.
You will have so many happy memories to look back on over the years.
I wanted to send a card but don’t have your apt. number. I know your card when Lawrence died meant a lot to me, but I guess this is the next best way.

It’s was an honor to have met Maxine and her family that I did meet. I was in complete shock when I heard the news. Maxine was a strong women even in her worst of times she always had a smile on her face. During the first few months of the pandemic our work crew would go up and sit with Maxine just to keep her company. (Our residents were getting lonely) and it just broke our hearts that family were not allowed in to see them. She absolutely loved to sit outside at the pond and love to play cards with her two good friends penny and Helen. She spoke so highly of her family she adore each and every one just a kind soul all together. Rest in paradise Maxine you will be missed PSW at the Waterford ❤️

We had good fun and a lots of talks, over the years. My brother Mike would make Maxine Bailey with crush ice when he came up to cottage. She enjoyed the drink. She will be missed. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Maxine. Your mother was also a tablemate of my mother Jackie Plewes at the Waterford and was very welcoming and kind when my mother moved to the Waterford. I enjoyed conversations with her and know she will be deeply missed.
