Sadly missed and loved, Michael leaves behind his sister, Linda (Shaw) Strathdee, his brother-in-law Russell Strathdee and his niece Rebecca Strathdee. He is predeceased by his younger brother Nicholas, his father Ernest Shaw and his mother Dorothy Shaw.
Mike worked as an elevator mechanic for many years in Toronto, Ontario. Very quiet, polite and knowledgeable, he enjoyed listening to blues music, and could tell you the life story of many famous musicians.
In keeping with his wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no Memorial Service. In sympathy, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.ca
