It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our brother Michael. Mike passed away peacefully at his residence in Barrie, Ontario on July 23 2022.
Mike was born in Rochdale, England on July 11 1965 to Basil and Gisela Kaczanowski (both predeceased) and he was the little brother of Peter and John. He emigrated to Toronto, Canada with his family in October 1974. Mike attended school in Toronto and eventually went on to graduate from the Devry Institute of Technology as an Electronics Technologist. After Mike embarked on his new found career in electronics, he met his loving partner Karen and together they had 2 beautiful daughters, Lauren and Robyn.
Mike will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and also leaves behind his nieces and nephews Kiera, Sean, Jennifer, Riley (predeceased) and Kellie.
His ashes will be returned to Toronto at a later date, where he will be interred close to his parents. A celebration of life will also take place around this time.
