Moe Schwartz, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 20th, 2025.
Born November 10th, 1931, he lived most of his life in Ontario, Canada and worked as an electrician at Ontario Hydro until retiring in 1993. He was a man who loved to bring joy unto others and his wonderful sense of humor can still be felt, even in his absence.
Moe is survived by his daughter, Sheila (Jim) Papadimitrios (née Schwartz), and son, Tony (Kathleen) Schwartz, as well as his 6 grandchildren Justin, Alexis (Nicholas), Jordan (Jordan), Jason, Andrew, Amanda, and his 3 great grandchildren Emma, Ella, Easton. He is lovingly reunited with his wife, Aviva Schwartz (née Stor).
At this time, the immediate family will be mourning his loss privately, in respect of his last wishes. Details regarding a Celebration of Life will be shared at a later date when available.

Posted on: Monday, December 22, 2025I am truly heartbroken to hear of Moshe’s passing. May his memory always be a blessing. I have known Moshe for almost 60 years. I am a niece of his sister-in-law Anutza. I have not seen Moshe since 2017 but we kept in touch on FB. He was a kind and generous person and will be dearly missed.

He was a loving father, a guiding presence, and a man whose strength, kindness, and values shaped the lives of everyone who knew him. His love for family was unwavering, and his wisdom and stories will live on through us.
We will forever cherish the memories we shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. Though his absence leaves a deep ache, we take comfort in knowing his spirit will always remain with us.
