Naim Youssef Younes

Younes, Naim Youssef:  Passed away peacefully at Newmarket Health Centre with his loving daughter by his side on Thursday September 28, 2023.  Naim Younes of Newmarket, Ontario at the age of 87 years.  Beloved husband of Late Adella (Nee Sarkis) Younes (December 2020).  Loving Father of Elise Desjardins (Steve) of Newmarket and Elie Younes of Orlando, Florida.  Special grandfather of Christopher and Tiffany Desjardins, Stephanie and Alexa Younes.  Dear brother of Siham Mema of Lebanon.  Predeceased by his siblings George Younes, Assad Younes, Maurice Younes, Mounir Younes and Matilde Doumit.  Dear brother-in-law of Diana Ghanem (Late Tedros), Najla Sarkis, Andre Sarkis (Amale), Tony Sarkis, Tilda Younes (Late Elias).  Naim will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A farewell visitation will take place at Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora)(Public parking on Yonge Street, Public lot on Tyler Street) on Thursday October 5^th, 2023 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.  A reception to celebrate the lives of Naim and Adella Younes will be held at Microtel by Wyndham (180 Goulding Ave., Aurora, Ontario) from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Naim and Adella will be interned together at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Collingwood.  In memory of Naim Younes, memorial donations may be made directly the Alzheimer’s Association.  Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded to the family through www.peacefultransition.ca
