Nancy Anne McGrath, born January 3, 1941 and at the age of 82, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday September 10, 2023. Nancy was a wonderful mother to Jason McGrath and Kerry-Lynne Torrie (Kevin Torrie), Gran to Duncan and Westin Torrie, Tyler and Jillian McGrath, sister to John Ford (Linda Ford) and friend to many. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Jerry McGrath.
Nancy’s positive attitude throughout her battle with cancer was admired by many and is said to be why she was able to enjoy these last, almost five years, to the extent that she did. Nancy started each day with two goals, deal with what comes and make someone smile. Those that knew her well, know that she met those goals everyday.
A small private Celebration of Life will be held with family and close friends next week followed by an internment for both Nancy and Jerry in October at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Bradford.

I curled with Nancy, and we had a lot of fun times.
I knew Nancy was battling cancer, and she was very supportive when I received my diagnosis of cancer this past April.
We met for coffee during the summer months, but then Covid hit and now cancer has prevented me from meeting the group for coffee.
