It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Patricia (Patti) Swanborough (née Priestley).  After a short admission at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie surrounded by family, Patti passed peacefully on March 30th, 2024.

 

She will be remembered and missed by her children Kimberly (David), Brenda (Dan), Jennifer (Dan) and Amanda (Troy), her grandchildren J.D., Zech, Sam, Jessica, Becca, Colby, Sydney, Liam and Nathan and her siblings Linda (Bruce), Rick (Diane), and Mark (Faye) along with many nieces and nephews.  Pre-deceased by brother Jack (Lenore).

 

Patti lived a life full of family, travelling and wining and dancing with friends.  Known to her nieces and nephews as “Crazy Auntie Pat”, she brought joy and vivacity to family gatherings.

 

The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at Royal Victoria Hospital for the care she received over the past several years and especially in her last days.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Army Navy Club, 52 Morrow Rd., Barrie from 2-5 p.m., all are welcome.

    I am so sorry to hear of Patti’s passing. Patti was my supervisor when I worked at Manpower back in 1989.
    We then reconnected a few years ago via Facebook.
    I am sending love and light to her family as they journey through this very sad time.

    My heart is so sad to hear the news of Patti’s death. She was a wonderful co-worker who became a dear friend. I believe she is in a better place and at peace, but will be greatly missed.
