It’s with great sadness to announce that Rena suddenly passed away at home on Sunday May 22, 2022 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Charles Haverson (2022). Cherished mother of Linda Stewart (Eric Robson), Sharon Haverson (Calvin Christie), Rick Haverson (Cindy Morrison), and the late Terry Haverson, also predeceased by son-in-law Gary Stewart. Proud grandma of Mark, Chris, Candace (Paul), Robert (Janele), Angie, Tammy, Randy (Lauren) and Jason. Loving great grandma of Brayden, Merrick, Tavis, Bryden, Claira, Judah and Ethan. Sister of Paulene Lewis (Dave) and her predeceased brothers Frank Lang (June), Dalton (Bud) Lang, Walter (Red) Lang and Wilbar (Dean) Thompson. Mom was a very strong and determined woman and has been very lost since the passing of our dad earlier this year. She will now be at peace and they will be joined again in heaven. In keeping with Rena’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Online memories and condolences may be made at www.peacefultransition.ca

Posted on: Monday, May 23, 2022My deepest condolences! I worked with Rena at General Electric back in the early 80’s. We stayed in touch at the coffee shop. She was a very wonderful person. She will be missed by many.

Posted on: Tuesday, May 24, 2022Sending condolences on behalf of my family. I am her brother, Wilbert (Dean) Thompson’s, granddaughter, named after their mother Rachel Thompson (Lang). I will never forget her coming to show her respects when my mother, her niece, Cindy, passed away in 2014. Meant so much to me. I remember lots of visits to Aunt Rena’s house when I was young. She was such a sweet person. Rest in peace, Aunt Rena.
