Rhoda Nunn

Rhoda Nunn, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, partner, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2023, at Coleman Care Centre in Barrie, Ontario. Her unwavering love, devotion, and vibrant spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rhoda was born on June 15, 1931, and throughout her life, she exemplified the values of love, compassion, and dedication to family. Beloved wife of 63 wonderful years to the late Jack (2016). She was a loving mother to her children, Gail (Mark, predeceased 2021), Keith (Natalie), and Carol (Mark), and took great pride in watching them grow into remarkable individuals. Rhoda's role as a grandmother brought immense joy to her life, and she delighted in the presence of her grandchildren Cassandra (Tyler), Mark (Elizabeth), Kaden, Quinlan, Robert, Michelle, and Gabrielle. Her great-grandchildren, Callie, Connor, Kingsley, Niklaus, Reilly, and Abigail, brought an extra sparkle to her eyes and a warmth to her heart.

She will be dearly missed by her partner Hal, whom she had a beautiful relationship with for the past 4 years as well as her siblings in England, and her extended family and friends.

Rhoda was heavily involved with the Arthritis Society, dedicating her time and energy to raise awareness and provide support to those in need. However, her greatest joy was gathering her loved ones around the Sunday dinner table. She believed in the power of family and cherished every moment spent together. Her laughter and stories will be deeply missed, and the memories of those joyful meals will forever be treasured.

Rhoda will be remembered as a beacon of love, strength, and generosity. Her legacy lives on through her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.

As we bid farewell to Rhoda, let us celebrate her remarkable life and the profound impact she had on the lives of others. May her soul find eternal peace, knowing that her love and kindness will forever remain in our hearts.
