We are all still in shock and absolutely heartbroken at Rhonda’s passing. Dave and his family have known Rhonda for 44 years and I’ve known her for 32. She watched both of our kids grow up and has become close to many members of the family, including our sister-in-law, Zully, from Ajax, and Dave’s aunt, Dianne, and her friend, Diane, who travelled from Montreal to the office for treatment. Her kindness and caring for the family was so touching, particularly for Dave’s parents in these last few years. She helped Dave’s dad get home when he needed a ride in the early stages of his diagnosis, and drove Zully to Mississauga when she was having a special procedure done. Her voice is still in our heads. We will miss her calls, her warm personality and friendly smile.~Heather and Dave West

    Dr. Arden,
Somehow your letter to patients got waylaid and I didn’t receive. The new dentist office called last week. I was absolutely floored with the news and my heart went out to you. Rhonda was a wonderful person and made everyone welcome at the office. She was the ying to your yang. I can’t help thinking about you guys together on your boat on Georgian Bay. I need to thank you for all your years servicing my “small mouth” – close to 25 years – and all the honest, knowledgeable, practical input you had to offer. My sincerest condolences and my honest best wishes to you now and in the future. Diane Waechter.
