Richard Dixon

Passed away suddenly on April 2, 2026, at the age of 83 years.

Richard was the much-loved husband, best friend, and soulmate of Maureen for 58 years.  His passing came only three weeks after the loss of his daughter Karen, a heartbreaking sorrow for him and his family.  A devoted Papa to Riley and Amber.

Richard's family was the centre of his life.  He cherished the time he spent with those he loved and took great pride in watching his family grow.  He will also be remembered by his brother John (Anne), his sister Anne (John), and his nephews Mick, Andrew, Greg, and Laura, all of England.

Richard was a warm and social man who enjoyed the company of others and never missed an opportunity to share a laugh.  Known for his quick wit and sharp sense of humour.  In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and Richard's cremated remains were privately interred at Aurora Cemetery.
