“San, Ken, Steve…there are no words to tell you just how sad the loss of Rich has made not just you but our entire Wilson family. I’m sure you know how much Rich was loved by all of us and while our grief doesn’t begin to compare to yours his loss is felt. Rich, in his generosity, kindness, support and love for his family, is an inspiration for all of us. He was a man who was liked by all who met him and he was so talented with his handiwork. Who will ever forget the tractor he restored and the wagon he built for it! His courage during the past nearly two years was admirable and he will be missed by you, me, and all who knew him. Rest in Paradise Rich…till we meet again.”

“Aunt Ruthanne, Ken and Steve. So sorry to hear about Uncle Rich passing. I have very fond memories of him like the only time I’ve been fishing and he would put the worms on the hook for me. We were lucky to have him in our lives and we will miss him. Love you guys. Rest well Uncle Rich.”

“Rich was one of the most incredible people I have ever known. He treated me like a granddaughter from day one and welcomed my family into his. I have nothing but fond memories of Rich and will always remember the holidays we spent together, the special Christmas boxes on the front lawn and the John Deer Tractor that Christopher will treasure forever. I truly hope he knows was an incredible grandfather and great grandpa he was and that we will think of him everyday and miss him very much. Rest in peace. Love, Michelle, Ryan, Christopher and Avery xo”

“Mom, it is very hard to put into words my love for you and Dad. After my parents departed I did not think anyone could fill the void they left in my heart, but you have. I hit the jackpot with Dad as we shared the love of my Toronto Maple Leafs, cars and home renovations. I will do my best to honour his wishes to continue to care for his first and only love…his gorgeous wife and his son who is my true love. I will take every opportunity to share photos and memories with all 5 of his great grandchildren so they too will remember the amazing man his was to all of us. Good night Dad”
