It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Wayne Brown.  Wayne, to everyone who knew him, left us surrounded by love on August 5, 2025, at the age of 82.  Born in Newmarket, October 18, 1942, Wayne graced this world with his loving nature, infectious humor, and unwavering work ethic that touched the lives of all who knew him.

Wayne, resided in Newmarket ON until moving to Barrie ON in 1997.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He never missed an opportunity to brag about his family, attend a hockey game, play, or dance recital.  His greatest joy came from watching his loved ones flourish, and his pride in their accomplishments was evident to everyone around him.  His loving spirit, quick wit, and hardworking nature created a legacy that will live on in the hearts of many.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lois, and their four children: Rob Brown (Ellen), Lorrie Limbeek (Pete), Kim Corbier (Tom), and Danielle Faulkner (Thomas); his nine grandchildren, Ryan, Joseph, Rachael, Trevor, P.J., Hannah, Samantha, Amanda, Amariah, and his many great-grandchildren.  Each carries forward his legacy of love, laughter, and devotion.

Wayne was a lovely man. We can testify to many of the dance recitals he attended! He was always a familiar and kind face in the audience. He clearly adored Amariah!

Clarence and I send our condolences to a man who was the strength of the family. While we never got the opportunity to meet Wayne in person , we knew him through the stories his daughter Lorrie shared with us. Thoughts and prayers for the family ❤️
