RODGERS, Bobbi (September 9th, 1952)

 

It is with great sadness that the family of Bobbi Rodgers announce her passing on

Friday, November 4th, 2022 at her home in Thornton, Ontario in her 70th year.

Bobbi was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, David Rodgers.  She

will be lovingly remembered by her children Michelle, Jamie (Kailee) and Scott

(Becky).  Beloved nana to Taylor, Ashley, Peyton and Samantha.

 

She is predeceased by her parents James and Agnes Mundy, sister Jean, brother

Edward and son-in-law Troy Scott.

 

Bobbi was the first of her family to be born in Canada.  She came from a family of 5,

who originated from Glasgow, Scotland.  She was proud of her Scottish heritage and

enjoyed passing on her family traditions to her children and grandchildren.  She lived

and raised her family in Thornton, Ontario since 1975, where she was loved by her

neighbours and many friends.

 

Bobbi will be remembered for her incredible sense of humour and caring demeanor.

She was a kind and gentle person who spent her life serving others.

 

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Thornton Public Library.

    My heart was saddened to learn of your mom’s passing. She was indeed a very kind and gentle lady. She was so proud of her granddaughters, sending pictures periodically.     Bobbi was someone who leaves a mark in other people’s lives. She lifted people up and brought out the best in everyone.
    Will miss our very very long telephone chats.
