Funeral Details: Celebration of Life a later time
Rona Agnes Johannesen, 94, of Penetanguishene, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2018 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital. Rona was predeceased by her husband John and daughter Karen. Rona was a well-loved member of her community and her positive spirit helped her build loving and close relationships with her many friends and neighbors. Rona was affectionately referred to as Nan and Great-Nan and her survivors include daughter Lynda and her husband Mike Butcher, grandchildren Chris Butcher and his wife Jessica and their children Sadie, Taylor, and Jordan. Also, Amanda Taylor and her husband Josh and their son Logan, and grandson Adam. Rona is also survived by granddaughter Erica Neumann and her partner Gary and their daughter Peta. Also, grandson Paul Neumann and his wife Catherine. A cremation is taking place and a celebration of life will be arranged in the Spring of 2019 in the Midland/Penetanguishene area. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity would be a welcome expression of sympathy.

I was so sad to hear of your Mum’s passing ….I think though it is a blessing in disguise as I think she would have been so unhappy having to leave the comfort of her own home.
