Ronald Alexander Harbottle

In loving memory of Ronald Alexander Harbottle who passed away on September 29th, 2022, at the Villa Nursing Home in Midland at the age of 94 years. Loving husband of Muriel Harbottle married for 67 years. Cherished father of Paul (Sharon), Graeme (Nicole), and Andrea (Pierre).  Proud grandpa of Christopher, Jordan, Brittany, Travis, and Ryan.

Ronald was born and raised in England where he met his lifelong partner, Muriel. They got married in England, then moved to Canada to start a new chapter of their life. When Ronald and Muriel arrived in Canada, they moved around to different cities then found the perfect spot to raise a family in Midland, Ontario. Ronald was a well-known man in the community who worked as a Financial Officer for the Mental Health Center. He then enjoyed retirement with his partner Muriel. Ronald loved the hobbies they both participated in, hiking, biking, camping, canoeing and he enjoyed curling, & golfing in his younger years.  If he wasn’t curling, he was watching it on TV. He loved to putter around the house doing odd jobs, keeping himself busy and out of Muriel’s hair.

As of April 7th, 2024, Ronald is reunited with the love of his life Muriel Harbottle. They’re now dancing up a storm together.

He will be sorely missed by all those when knew and loved him.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service.  Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition.
