Ronald Frederick Marshall

Passed away peacefully at IOOF Seniors Home in Barrie on Sunday February 23, 2025 at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of Diane for 43 years. He will be sadly missed by his children and their families, Lynn (Randy) – both predeceased, Joseph – predeceased, Gerry (Kim), Paul (Cheryl), Gail (Tom), Pete, Kelly, Jeff (Kathy) and Karen (Paul). Ron is predeceased by all his brothers and sisters.

Ron will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews as well as his extended family and friends.

Born in Parry Sound in 1936, Ron was a plumber by trade. He was very active in Minor Hockey and was also a referee for many years. He was an active member of the Huntsville and Sutton Legions for many years as well. He enjoyed carpentry, fishing, hunting, playing pool and cards.

The family wishes to send a special thank to the staff at IOOF Seniors Home and The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre staff for their excellent care, support and compassion.
