We hadn’t seen each other since probably elementary school, grade 3 at St. Francis with Ms. Johnson, and grade 5 at Holy Cross with Ms. Holland. I’m sorry you had to pick up my orange peels because I was too afraid to admit they were mine. You were always very nice to me in elementary school, a lot of kids just weren’t but you were. I’ll always be appreciative of that and I’ll always remember you for it, that will be my lasting impression of you. I’ll remember when we exchanged our creative writing stories in grade 5, where we had to write a new final chapter to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I’m saddened to hear about this but I trust you’re at peace now, and that your positive energy leaves behind a beautiful legacy, just as it has done for me.

To Sams family we share your sadness. Sam was once apart of our family. She introduced us to tacos, which is still a family favourite. She was my daughters best friend for many years. Best friends occupy a place in our hearts forever. God just called home another angel!
    Love from the Schulz family!

Sam, my condolences to your family. They are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. My heart breaks for your baby and all those you surrounded your love and beautiful smile with. This has been such tragic and difficult news to process so I truly can’t imagine the heartache being felt by those close to you. I will never forget your cheeky laugh, our memories when we were younger, and the good times we shared. You taught me to have courage as a teenager, move out of my comfort zone, and embrace the time for what it was- short. I’m grateful I even knew you and could call you a friend. Susan, your daughter was a big impact on me when we were younger. So much fun, vibrant, and determined. I know life gets busy and I truly wish we stayed in touch better. Savannah would love to have met you and had Issac as her friend. May God watch over your family especially your beautiful sweet boy. Rest in paradise my friend, I will remember you always xoxo
