Sandra Mae Tuckey

Passed away peacefully in her 89^th year, surrounded by family, on June 23, 2025 — a date made even more meaningful as it would have been her beloved husband Paul’s 88^th birthday.

Sandra was the loving mother of Shane (Kim), Carrie Dixon (Bill), Kelli Giffen (Ralph), and Todd (Sandy).  Cherished grandmother of John-Paul, Patrick, Meghan, Jacklyn, Kirstin, Joseph, Jonathon, and Sarah.  Proud great-grandmother to Carter, Miley, Jordan, Silas and Jaiden

She will be deeply missed by her sisters Marlene Thurlow-Duffy, Nardda Gibbenhuck, and Marcia Fanning.  Sandra was predeceased by her loving husband Paul, her brother Bill, and sisters Audrey and Muriel.

Sandra will always be remembered for her quick wit, her warmth, and the laughter she brought to every room — a gift she shared with us all, right up to her final days.

She had recently moved into Grove Park Home Retirement Village where she settled in with grace and ease, forming new friendships and finding comfort in her final chapter.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Sandra’s Life will take place on Monday, July 7th, 2025 at Barrie Legion from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
