Shane Ashley Emms, age 40, passed Sept 5th after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was a loving caring father to Kyra and Hailee, a loved and supportive big brother of Adam (Chelsea), had a special and unique relationship with dad Randy, stepson of Mindy and grandson of Audrey. Shane was predeceased by his mom Ruth Ann and Nana Doris. He will be missed by family and friends and always loved by Rosa. Donations to charity of your choice or Barrie Hospice would be appreciated.

Posted on: Wednesday, November 7, 2018It may have been 18 years ago now.. But when i first moved to Barrie Shane was my very first friend and helped my through my first year when i had nobody. He welcomed me into friendship, helped ensure I was off the street when basically homeless back then. Although our friendsgip only lasted 6 months as I drifted into a new job so did our friendship by losing contact. I am saddened to see that he had battled this disease, but feel at ease knowing he is at peace. To his daughters and family I am so sorry for your loss.. He had a huge spirit and his Legacy with always be with you. He is still a big part of my memories.. If not for him and Jen at the time when we worked at Aegis i may not have made it through in Barrie.
