Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Wallace Brading. Loving mother of Chris Brading (Lynda), and Jo-Anne Forsyth (Earl). Dear grandmother of Tammy, Tina, TraceyLyn, Christopher, Todd, and Justin; and great-grandmother to many.
As the last surviving sibling in her family, Shirley is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She lovingly dedicated her life to her husband and children, and will be remembered for her kindness and loving spirit.
In her younger years, Shirley enjoyed baking butter tarts and homemade bread, and she was a talented piano player who played for the Conservatory of Music, an achievement she cherished. Known for her quick wit and proficiency with numbers, Shirley was a wonderful woman who touched the lives of many.
In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place, and her urn will be placed alongside her husband’s at Innisvale Cemetery.

Posted on: Thursday, August 22, 2024Dear Chris & Jo-Anne,
Saying good-bye to your Mom is one of the saddest things we have to do in our lives. She is the one who loved you before you were born and has loved you the longest of anyone on earth. I remember your Mom was always
dressed “to the nines” as they say. Be it coming home from work, sitting in church or attending the snowmobile races. She was one of a kind and will be truly missed.
Here is to a life well lived. Remember all the good times….you will have so many pleasant memories to keep her alive in your hearts.
With sincere sympathy,
Gwen
