Funeral Details: A Celebration of Life announced at a later date

Korytek, Stanislav Alfredovich:  Passed away suddenly on September 2, 2021 in Aurora, Ontario.  Stanislav was born on July 11, 1959 in Orenburg, Russia.  He graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in Physical Culture and went on to become the Coaching Coordinator of the Figure Skating School of Meteor Sport Complex in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.  Stan coached many young athletes who competed in figure skating at the national and international level, and earned the title "Merited Coach of Ukraine".

Stan immigrated to Canada in 1993 where he continued to coach Canadian figure skaters for several years before joining his wife's law firm where he engaged in business development, IT and administration. Stan loved science and technology, philosophy, aviation, space exploration, art, travel, fitness, nature, cycling, hiking, swimming, and many other activities. Stan enjoyed lively conversations over a cup of tea and pastry, and was a very charismatic, passionate and creative person.

Stanislav leaves behind his daughter Yana (husband Yevgeny) and their son Miroslav as well as Yana’s mother Galina.  He will be sadly missed by his sons Alexander and Aidan, and their mother, Nancy.  Beloved son of Alfred and Tamara. Stan will be fondly remembered by his relatives and many friends who loved him.  A memorial will be announced and held at a later date in December 2021.  Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York and condolences may be forwarded through peacefultransition.ca
