Stephany-Jane Mary McKay (nee Dubie)

August 20, 1951 - July 6, 2020

Funeral Details:

Let go of her physical form on Monday July 6, 2020.  She has asked that all her loved one’s experience life to the fullest, so she can share in your experiences. She “will” dance and sing with you again down the road.  The pillar of a devoted homemaker and Wife to Richard. An unimpeachable Mother to James (Larry) McKay and Mary Kapeller. Fun loving, proud Grandmother to Mary Kapeller (MeMe).  Dependable Sister to Catherine Dubie, and the late Susan Dubie.  Daughter of James Dubie and the late Alice Dubie (Forsythe).  That special Aunt to Robin Konkle, Shannon Konkle and the late Alan Konkle, Allison McCollum, William Dubie, Cynthia Dubie and Jordan Dubie.  An amazing friend to many; Never thought twice about helping someone in need. As the world became more needy, she became sicker. As the world is entering a healing phase, she felt secure in leaving her physical form.  In the prime of her physical life she actively fished and camped, lived in various parts of the world and had a vivacious lust for life. When she walked into a room, every head turned when they felt her joyous energy and the solidity behind it. She was always able to bring a smile to your face.  Special Thank-you to the Staff that truly cared at Royal Victoria Hospital. The location of passing.  Her print on life will be missed by many.

She says: “Not for long!” Yaaaa Let’s go Fishing!  OX

Happy Wedding Anniversary as well as your 3rd week of crossing over. Did you plan it that way Mother?…lol…OX

Dad will be taking a road trip soon to do your celebration of life. He knows family and friends are spread all over Canada and he hopes to see as many of them as he can. I am looking into finding a collector for your coin collection in order to help him fund it, Please don’t be upset that I’m not using them just for me, but this was the only wedding anniversary present I could come up with.

    I Love You Mom!…OX
