In Memoriam - Stephen John William Burgoyne Coulson November 3rd, 1965 - May 4th 2019

We lost our beloved Stephen on Star Wars Day, May the 4th be with you. Star Wars, Star Trek and any and all super heroes were a huge part of Stephen’s life enjoyed through movies, comics and memorabilia.
The other big passion of Stephen’s life was swimming. In his adolescences he competed in the Special Olympics. This is a passion that continued throughout adulthood.
Stephen was known for his infectious smile and his generous, compassionate spirit. He had a tremendous gift for remembering names after the first meeting. He would greet everyone by their name with a big welcoming smile. Stephen loved to laugh, especially while teasing family members about getting older.
Stephen and his mom shared a very special bond. You would rarely find one without the other. He will be deeply missed by his mom Marion, his sisters Wendy, Carol and Teresa. Brother-in-laws Don, Peter and Mike. And fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. He will be reunited with his Dad, Uncle Bob and Uncle Alan.
A heartfelt thank you for the Woodspark staff’s loving care of our Stephen, embracing his love of superheroes, music and swimming.
Stephen’s favorite character Spock leaves us with a fitting parting wish to those left behind Live Long and Prosper.
Please join us for a memorial service honouring Stephen Coulson on June 7th, 1 pm in the Chapel at Woodspark, 110 Lillian Crescent, Barrie. Reception to follow, 1:30 to 3:00 to share memories.

He was a wonderful and generous person who will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. My memories are of a boy who helped all with his gentle spirit. One great memory is of him looking forward to Aunt Gails goodies at Christmas.

He routinely greeted my father with a chuckle & hearty “Hi Don” whenever we were in his company; A wonderful, larger than life, joie de vive individual. Loved the way he brought his apartment & Woods Park to life Miss you, many thanks Stephen, for you.
