It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Theresa Moncada, surrounded by her loving family, on September 14, 2023, at the age of 72.  Daughter of the late Leopold and Jacqueline Deziel.  She was a devoted wife to Kenneth for 52 years.  Loving mother to Christopher (Rebecca) and Michael (Dakota).  Cherished nana to Claudia, Scarlett, Caiden, Emerson, Claire and Lilah.  Dear sister of Robert (Nicole), Denis, the late Fernard and Neil.  She is also sister-in-law to Phyllis, Grace, Angela, and Karen.

Theresa was known for her kind, forgiving and generous spirit.  She selflessly gave of herself and dedicated her time to helping others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.  Her immense circle of friends is a testament to the love and warmth she shared throughout her life.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Theresa will be held at the Traditions Banquet Hall at Sheba Shrine, 142 John St., Barrie on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations are made to Hospice Simcoe, where Terrie was so well cared for in her final weeks.  Please click here to donate .
