I will miss Val’s laugh and smile, her warmth and good advice, the way she loved and showed pride in her family, how she was always there for her friends. Didn’t matter how much time went between times together, I always felt the solid friendship we shared. Such a kind, special lady who will be terribly missed. God sure got a good one this time!

To Dennis, Val’s girls and family

I am saddened to hear of Val’s passing but am glad she will be at peace and not suffering.
I will hold on to the memories of her visits with me and the laughter we shared, and our love of our dogs. My sister sends her condolences as well as she thought highly of Val.

To my beautiful nieces Michelle, Denise, Lisa and Teresa my heart is heavy at your loss. We may have moved further away but when Val and I got on the phone it was like we always seemed to pick up where we left off. I will miss our long conversations into the early mornings. We would laugh, reminisce about happier times and even cry a little too.
Always remember, your Mom isn’t gone. She will always be with you in spirit and in your hearts. Her suffering has ended. She’s home with her Mom and Dad.
    Rest in peace Val.
Love you and I’ll miss you.

My heartfelt condolences to Valerie’s family. She will always be remembered for her enormous smile, her wit and her infectious laughter! She brought us decades of laughs and giggles, and one year a special gift who remains in our family memories – Patsy! Thanks for all of the wonderful summers together with your Nova Scotia families!

To Dennis, the girls and family,
Thinking of you at this sorrowful time. Val was such a delight to have as a neighbour and friend. The girls and I remember many memories with Val and she often watched over the girls, cats, house and garden when we went on vacation Down East. Our condolences to all of you. She will be missed, but remembered always for her lovely laughter and joyful ways.
    Nancy, Josie and Lauren
