What a shock to hear this news. I remember first meeting Vance in Barrie when he and Joe had the store on Bayfield St.  Vance was always a great guy to do business with. He loved his family, always liked to laugh and was a true student of the Industry. He will be missed.

Vance had the biggest smile and kindest heart of anyone else in the field. He talked about his sons and wife with an even bigger smile and his cheer would brighten my day.

Deepest condolenses to the Privitera family.

I am just so sad to hear about Vance. I keep picturing him sitting in my husbands office in Kingston years ago when we owned this business talking about our kids and Queen’s. He introduced us to Cantrex and it made my life so much easier. I am still here part time and got to see him more over the last few years. He was a true gentleman and a perfect sales person. NO pressure just confidence in what he was promoting and an easy nature. I can only imagine your pain and heartache but know he was well liked and thought of with the utmost respect. RIP my friend…gone far to soon.

Vance and I had the pleasure of working together for my 8 years with Cantrex. We often travelled together and shared a love of family as well as the furniture industry and our member dealers. Vance was totally dedicated to his dealers and did his best for them and their businesses. Vance was also a devoted family man who was very proud of Zack and Sam and deeply loved Karen. We will miss him greatly at Cantrex as a business colleague but mostly as a dear friend.

Karen my dear friend, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am here if and when you need me. I loved driving into your driveway to see Vance outside working with the tires and weights, he would call the dog and send pleasantries but kept to his workout. Then I would see him in the kitchen trying to support you with a new Pampered Chef recipe, he was so strong and gentle all at the same time, a real man’s man. Vance has left you way too early. May your memories bring you piece and may the bond you have with your boys only continue to grow as they support you. You now have your own special angel in heaven that you can call by name. Love Always, Teresa, John, John, Nicole, Dominic, MiaBella and Xzavier.

    Dear Karen, Zack & Sam,

I am shocked & sadden as I just heard of Vance’s passing last August.  He was a great person to work with & I fondly remember his sense of humour.  When I was trying to lose weight he was a great mentor & friend.  Although we grew apart after the closing of Bayfield Fine Furniture, I always imaged him successfully enjoying life with you. My condolences for your loss – Vance will be missed.
