Victoria Alexandra Bachlowa

February 4, 1956 - September 8, 2021

Funeral Details: Memorial Services to be held at a later date

Victoria Bachlowa, born on February 4, 1956, passed away very peacefully, after a lengthy battle with cancer, on September 8, 2021 in Newmarket, Ontario.

Victoria was a beloved and only sister to her four brothers:  Victor (Mary), Alec (Cordelia), Peter, and Andrew.  Loving Aunt to:  Adam (deceased) and Julian; Faith, Melody (Scott), Justin and Scarlett; Timothy and Nicholas.  Godmother to Julian.

Special thanks go out to her lifelong best friends – Janna and Sheryl – who were always there for her, unconditionally, right to the very end.  Thanks also go out to Shana, who Vicky regarded with great fondness.

Victoria enjoyed a successful career in real estate.  She travelled the world and had many exciting experiences.  Vicky was passionate about all types of music – writing songs, singing, as well as playing many different musical instruments.  Her favourites were playing the viola, violin and the piano.  A party girl at heart, jamming with friends and family was her best-loved pastime throughout her entire life.

Memories of Vicky…

You used to bring me flowers,

When life was full of hope.

I sang songs about you, and life stood still.

I had to die and be reborn.

I’ve got to be free!

I’m wonderful, you’re beautiful!

Although the rain makes me cry!

I know I may never pass this way again.

I love you now, as much as I did then.

From deep within my heart, I wish you all the best!

XOXO

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition in Aurora.  Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I was so sorry to learn of Victoria’s passing. She was one of my favourite people at our local jam sessions – always fun and full of life. I loved her harmonizations to songs we were singing, as well as her own songs and performances. The world is a poorer place without Victoria in it.
