Wayne Douglas Porter, 70, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Thursday May 14, 2026.
Wayne was born October 6, 1955, in Barrie, Ontario.
He was an employee at Industrial Commutator Ltd. (I.C.C) for more than 41 years, working with the company from February 1984 to May 2025.
He was a lover of bowling and enjoyed being with friends at Bowlerama Barrie.
Wayne is survived by his wife Pamela of almost 50 years. Together they had their four loving children; Nicholas, Tim, Julianna (Dave) and Brittany. Wayne had the pleasure of loving his five grandchildren; Owen, Morgan, Alice, Bronwyn and Lilith.
We will be having a gathering to celebrate Wayne’s life at a later date.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped us.

Posted on: Friday, May 29, 2026Wayne was an Awesome person. I was lucky enough to have worked with him at Industrial Commutator on Morro Rd from 1994 to 1997 with Terry McClain . A great person and will be missed for sure .
