Wendy Laine Prenty

Passed away suddenly on October 22, 2025, at the age of 74 years.

Daughter of the late William and Lorna Lightheart.  Beloved wife of the late John Angel.  Loving mother of Derek (Pamela), Christopher, Lisa (Neil), and stepmother to Katrina Angel.  Dear grandma of Cayman and Klea. Sister of Donald (Judy).

Wendy had a passion for genealogy and spent much of her time researching and recording her family’s history.  She loved her children and had a close and special friendship with her daughter Lisa.  She loved gardening and had a deep appreciation for flowers.  An animal lover at heart, who adored her cats and dogs.  Wendy was a sports fan who enjoyed watching and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.  She was a generous and loving woman, always keeping her door and heart open and because of this Wendy was known as an adopted “mom” to many.  She will be remembered as someone who was full of love and warmth.
