William “Bill” Raymond Snoddon

December 19, 1947 - February 27, 2024

Funeral Details: A Celebration of Life at the Gravenhurst Legion, 290 Veterans Way, Gravenhurst on Saturday, March 9, from 11a.m. to 3 p.m.,

Passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024 in his 77th year at Andy’s House (Hospice Muskoka) in Port Carling, with his wife Judy (née Taverner) and daughter-in-law Teresa by his side.  He was predeceased by his sons Jason, and Mark (Teresa), and parents Marjorie and Raymond.

Bill is also survived by siblings Ruth Cleaveley, Thomas, James, and Nancy Harrison. Papa to Emmett, missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Bill worked in construction when he was young, then for five years at Ontario Hydro construction division, and fifteen years at Alcan Foils in Bracebridge.  Subsequently he ran a carpentry and cottage maintenance business, and he and Judy had a B&B on Lake of Bays.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life will be held at the Gravenhurst Legion, 290 Veterans Way, Gravenhurst on Saturday, March 9, from 11a.m. to 3 p.m., where they can share memories and laughs over “a cold one,” and enjoy some music.  There will be a private interment in the Spring at Barkway Cemetery.
