Yvonne passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on August 21, 2026, at the age of 95.
Daughter of the late Percy and Beatrice Beaune. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Sister and last surviving sibling of the late Etta, Julie, Bea, Atala, Paul, and Leo.
Loving mother of Norman (Sandy), Susan (Bob), Leonard (Karen), Michael, and Diane (the late Randy). Cherished grandmother “Nan” of Michelle, Jamie, Carlie, Coco, Kyle, Nick, Jan-Michael, Jeremy, Jesse, Riley, Jessica, and Brandy. Dear great-grandmother of Ryan, Cody, Hollie, Jackson, Callie, Elle, Ava, Daxton, Karson, Joey, Annie, Charlie, Jonsy, Jordy, Jake, Jed, Atla, John-Michael, Cayden, Preston, Savana, and Jolee; and great-great grandmother of Blake.
Yvonne was kind, loyal and above all, loving to those closest to her. Family meant everything to her and some of her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by the people she loved. It wasn’t unusual for her all of kids to show up for Sunday dinners, often with a friend in tow, who was always welcomed. She had a wonderful way of showing her affection by preparing meals and making sure everyone was well fed. She was a die-hard fan of all Canadian sports teams, from baseball to curling, you could always hear Nan cheering the Blue Jays or Toronto Maple Leafs on (even through walls). She was always dressed to the 9’s and ready for an outing. Her warmth, generosity, and love for her family will be remembered always.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care Yvonne received. In memory of Yvonne, donations may be made to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.

The year before I lost my Mom to Alzheimer’s, automatically when I became a part of the family we had such a wonderful bond, that she filled the void in my heart as my Mother.
She was the kindest lady you could have ever met, always caring and worrying about others.
Mom I will miss you always and forever, no one else will ever fill my void like you did.
May you rest peacefully with Norm and your siblings.
This isn’t goodbye, it’s I’ll see you again someday… Love you always Mom. ♥️🙏🏻
