My deepest sympathies to Rob’s family and especially his daughter Charlee and her mother Chantelle. I had the pleasure of spending many days and nights at Rob and Chantelle’s house when Charlee was first born, and was privileged to witness what a wonderful father Rob was to Charlee. He loved playing with her and it was a joy to see that no matter her request…Rob was “game” to play along. Not only was Rob such a caring father, but he was always willing to lend a hand when needed, from shoveling for a neighbour to picking something up for someone. He always made everyone feel welcomed and his kindness was shown to many. Rob, you will be greatly missed…but also greatly remembered. -Mel

I am Charlee the beloved daughter of Robert Myatt. I am going to miss my dad so much and I just know that we won’t have to be in pain or suffer anymore. He will always be with all of us forever. Not in person but in our hearts. I am sad that I didn’t get to say goodbye but I know that he is in a better place now. I love him and I will never forget him for as long as I live❤️I promise Dad I will learn how to fix a car like you were going to show me.

    Rob,
You were right. You said I would miss you when you were gone. I just didn’t realize how much. I wish I could have one moment with you to tell you how I really feel. I did not get to say goodbye. You gave me the most beautiful, intelligent, confident and spunky little girl and she is that way because of you. I promise to alway make sure that your beautiful is taken care of. I will make sure your memory is always with her every moment of her life. I know you loved us both until your last breath and we love you more than words can express. I will always have you in her. When I look in her eyes I have you. You will always have a special place in my heart. You will live on through her and we will never forget. We will have you in our hearts forever. You will always be in my heart and and my soul. We will celebrate you in everything we do and have Black Forest cake on your birthday. Thank you for all the good times, laughs and the memories. I will always love you. Until we meet again. I love you(little bit)❤️

I met Rob through my sister. I can remember how much in love the two of you were. We shared many good times and laughs together. Always going down to the Simcoe together and you listening to us sing for hours haha. At first when she met you I thought you two wouldn’t last. I was wrong, you ended up more in love and then shared a beautiful daughter (my niece) Charlee. I see so much of her in you. She has your smile and your funny attitude. I know you will live in her always, and we will continually be reminded of the great person and dad you were. You and Chan eventually parted but you always had eachother in mind and in your hearts. I know there will never be a love like you for Chan. She really loved you, and I know you know that. I’m glad to know you’re not in pain anymore, but my heart hurts to know you’re gone. Thank you for coming into my life and making my beautiful niece. You will always be remembered. Especially barking like a dog out my car window haha

I worked with Rob a few years ago for the summer – he was always such a pleasure to work with. Super funny and always had a smile on his face.. I couldn’t say a bad word about him. One of the most genuine and kind hearted people I’ve had the chance to work with. Deeply saddened by the news – my deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed by all.

I was saddened to learn of Rob’s passing…..Rob was a great guy, great friend , had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. Rob, Chan, Nan, Popps and myself had many great times together in their home. Rob’s greatest loves in his life were his beautiful daughter Charlee and her mother Chantelle and being able to spend as much time as he could with Charlee.
Rest in peace my friend and we will remember you and our good times.

I was a classmate of Rob’s as kids at Codrington (and later at North for a while). I have a clear memory of him from childhood when Mr Cockburn took his late Son Scott, Rob and myself to the movies. Its a small memory but one that comes up often and now sadly both of those childhood friends are gone (way too soon).

Rob and I were elementary school classmates who would bump into one another from time to time, and athough I hadn’t seen him in many years now,
I had hoped to catch up with him again some day.
So sorry for your loss; Rob was a good and kind man.

So sorry to hear of Robbie’s passing. To Mary, Barb, & Charlee’s family’s. Tony, Alan, & I are thinking of you all at this difficult sad time. Robbie was definitely a funny guy & made us laugh. He would help anyone in need on the spot. We remember him coming to fix our roof one winter when the ice was backing up under the shingles. He was there immediately. Charlee, your dad will always look over you! RIP Robbie
